Over time there have been many theories and concepts about the idea that we live in multiple, parallel planes and universes. There is also the idea that time is linear and can be traveled past and future in the multiple planes.

One of the most famous science fiction books, The Time Machine, by H. G. Wells explores what this could be like traveling into the past and future.

A powerful, short story by Ray Bradbury, A Sound of Thunder, is about a hunter who traveled back in time to kill a Tyrannosaurus Rex that had been fated to die. The idea was that any altering anything of the past in any way could alter the future changing the time line so they were careful to choose an animal that the hunter could safely kill. The hunter accidental steps on and kills a butterfly. When he returns to his present time he discovered that the democratic government he left had become a dictatorship and the English language was radically changed.

Being a person who has enjoyed science fiction since I was a kid and the study of metaphysical from my early 20's, I was always fascinated with the idea of time travel. I believe deep meditative states can allow to have these types of experiences and the ability to move between dimensions and time. The idea of this album is for the music enhance deep altered, meditative states to assist the listener/meditator to reach those different levels of consciousness.

All the music on this album is purely improvised, no planning in advance of sequences and patterns for each piece.

This is some of my favorite music to listen to next to Wizards.

The subtitle of this album could be "Music for Acupuncture" as these are the tracks I use when I receive my acupuncture treatments. I always start with "Music with Changing Resonances" as it takes me very deep into the treatment.

Also, "Music with Changing Resonances" was presented on "Contrasts," a cassette published by Preservation Music Australia.

These tracks were created in the studio from 2011 and 2012 and are improvised, real time recordings, as is all my work.
